REPORT ON THE 2015 TESSA DAY SCHOOL - By Anthony Humphreys
The 2015 TESSA Day School took place on 25th July at a new venue – Belmont Square in Rondebosch. The topic was “Aspects of Ancient Egyptian Art.”
Speakers were Keith Grenville – “Symbolism in Ancient Egyptian Art.”
Prof. Anthony Humphreys – “Art and Nature thus Allied: Physical Beauty in Ancient Egypt.”
Prof. Sakkie Cornelius - “Emotions in Ancient Egyptian Art.”
It was a wonderful day and Belmont Square deserves hearty thanks for such excellent service.
